(Inspired by Sefer HaChinukh)
Ribbono Shel Olam, Master of the Universe,You created every soul with a unique purpose that no one else in the world can fulfill. You planted within me a path that is mine alone, shaped by the mitzvot, guided by Your wisdom, and revealed slowly as I grow. Please help me feel the truth that my life has meaning, direction, and holy intention.
The Sefer HaChinukh teaches that every mitzvah refines the inner self and draws a person closer to their soul’s purpose. Through repeated action, the heart becomes shaped by holiness, and the neshama becomes awakened to its mission. Please help me perform each mitzvah with sincerity so that its light can open my heart and show me what You desire from me.
Sometimes I struggle to understand my place in the world, and I feel unsure of the next step. Please guide me gently, showing me that clarity comes through movement, through choosing kindness, and through living with intention. Help me trust that each good deed I do builds the inner structure of the person I am meant to become.
You taught that actions awaken the heart, and that the path to purpose begins with doing, even before fully understanding. Let my daily acts of Torah, prayer, and mitzvot lift away confusion and reveal the beauty You placed inside me from the beginning. Help me take small, steady steps toward becoming the person my soul longs to be.
Give me the courage to release expectations placed on me by others that do not align with my true calling. Help me notice the quiet pull of my neshama and not ignore it out of fear or doubt. Let me walk toward what is real, toward what is mine, with humility and strength.
Plant within me a desire to live with holiness, meaning, and integrity. Let me feel the joy that comes from aligning my choices with Your will. Help me build a life that reflects the unique spark You breathed into me.
Let the mitzvot I keep illuminate the path ahead and clarify what my soul was sent here to repair, elevate, and reveal. The Sefer HaChinukh teaches that every commandment has the power to shape the heart toward goodness, and I ask that this goodness reshape my understanding of myself. Let my heart and my actions unite so that my purpose becomes clear.
Ribbono Shel Olam, guide me with compassion as I seek to discover the mission You designed for me. Help me feel that I matter, that my presence in this world is intentional, and that there is something sacred only I can bring. Please lead me step by step until I can fulfill the reason my soul descended into this world.
Amen.
