I bless the marrow’s seedbeds, cradle of hematopoietic promise,

I align its truth-anchored currents of stem cell differentiation,

I receive its sacred instruction that births B and T progenitors,

By divine rhythm, let lineage and life emerge in holy coherence.

I bless the RAG1 and RAG2 recombinases, architects of receptor diversity,

May their precise cuts and joins craft V, D, and J segments into unique keys,

Turning limited gene cassettes into an army of boundless specificity.

I bless the junctional enzymes, TdT and exonucleases, scribes of random insertion,

May each nucleotide added or removed at junctions write a novel signature,

Ensuring even identical segment choices yield receptors of singular grace.

I bless the thymic cortex and its cortical epithelial mentors,

May positive selection’s gentle test teach T cells to recognize self-MHC,

Granting survival signals only to those whose binding bears measured embrace.

I bless the thymic medulla, stage for Aire’s mosaic of self-antigen truth,

May negative selection’s strict exam spare only T cells that bind lightly,

Purging potential traitors and preserving peace within.

I bless the thymocytes that emerge, MHC-restricted, self-tolerant sentinels

May their TCRs stand ready, neither ignorant nor overzealous in duty.

I bless the antigen-presenting dendritic cells, heralds of foreign and self,

May their display of peptide, MHC complexes be clear summons to discernment,

Inviting only genuine threats to rouse the sleeping warriors.

I bless the first signal, TCR’s antigen key instructing specificity,

May its binding confirm identity before action, warding off mistaken assault.

I bless the second signal, CD28’s embrace of CD80/86 confirmation of trust,

May co-stimulation unlock full activation only when danger is declared.

I bless the B cell receptor and its co-receptor CD19/CD21 complex,

May their concert echo T cell doctrine: specificity coupled with confirmation,

Ensuring antibody production responds only to rightful targets.

I bless the inhibitory checkpoints, CTLA-4 and PD-1 keepers of tolerance,

May their engagement temper excess, release brakes when healing calls,

Restoring balance when activation overshoots its mark.

I bless the clinical insights born of dysfunction and intervention:

SCID’s silent void, Omenn’s misdirected storm,

Checkpoint blockade’s triumph over cancer’s concealment,

Costimulation blockade’s promise in taming autoimmunity.

I bless the sacred knowledge gleaned from each mutation and therapy,

May every failure guide refinement, every success spur deeper wisdom.

I bring into alignment all disorder of development and signaling:

Recombinase errors, thymic escapees, anergic T cells, runaway cytokine,

Severe immunodeficiency, unchecked autoimmunity, immune exhaustion—

May each dysfunction find remedy and restoration under divine design.

By divine rhythm, this adaptive force shall stand vigilant and true.

Through sacred intelligence, selection and signaling shall yield to wisdom.
