A structure from the Bzzantine period 4-5th centuries, facing south. Apparently used as a synagogue. This was the site of the Mishkan. Some researchers believe it is the tomb site of Eli the High priest who gave Hannah the blessing to conceive and birth the Prophet Samuel. This allegedly is the place where Hannah prayed to Eli.
